The A.H. SYSTEMS Double Ridge Guide Horn Antennas are a type of broadband antennas, from 170 MHz to 40 GHz, and offer reduced test times, when compared to half wave dipoles, without the need for dipole antenna adjustment for every frequency. According to the Mil-Std 461E, these antennas should be the first choice for frequencies above 200 MHz. They can be used for radiated immunity and emissions testing, for general field measurements. They are available in four different models, with different frequency ranges and different gains, from 10 dBi to 20 dBi. Their use is more and more common in modern testing applications.
